Weather Crystal, misspelled "Weather Cristal" in the ending of Mega Man X2, is what controls the weather in Wire Sponge's stage in Mega Man X2 and Mega Man Xtreme 2. It normally changes the weather by itself and usually the Croak Hoppers will open their mouths to indicate this.
But, X can control the weather as well:
- Speed Burner can make the weather sunny.
- Bubble Splash causes the weather to be rainy (this is ill-advised, though, as the rainstorm is also accompanied by wind, and the wind can sometimes make movement difficult to control).
- Crystal Hunter will make the weather foggy.
- Strike Chain disables it.
