The nameless castle is the fortress stages in Mega Man (Game Gear). This castle is made up of multiple stages from main Mega Man games, with the appearance of Dr. Cossack's Citadel. Although the beginning of the final stage shows the Wily Castle from Mega Man 4, the ending shows Cossack's Citadel exploding instead, being possibly a mistake from the game.
Stages[]
Interestingly, the two stages here are direct copies of Wave Man and Toad Man's stages retrospectively, with no signs of the stages actually taking place in the citadel itself.
Stage 1[]
| For this stage's NES counterpart, see Wave Man Stage |
The first stage is a water quality management station. One area contains floating bubbles that Mega Man must use to reach the top, and near the end of the stage he drives a Marine Bike.

Stage 2[]

The second stage has several areas with rain and wind as well as water currents that pushes the player back and makes pitfalls more dangerous.

Stage 3[]
| For this stage's NES counterpart, see Quick Man Stage |
The final stage is a recreation of Quick Man's stage, complete with Force Beams. Quick Man himself is not present, however, as when the player reaches the boss corridor, Mega Man warps to another part of the castle. This last section is designed after the first room of the third stage of Mega Man 5's Wily Castle, with the teleporter at the end simply leading to the final confrontation.
