Worker Miyabi (仕事人ミヤビ Shigotonin Miyabi) is the 43rd episode of Rockman.EXE Stream. It aired on July 30, 2005 in Japan.[1]

Plot[]

Dark Miyabi is working behind the scenes to carry out a request to eliminate Rockman. However, Yuriko appears in front of Miyabi and tries to stop him. Miyabi stops by Maha Ichiban and encounters Netto. Miyabi declares that he will delete Rockman out of pride as a hitman, but Netto treats Miyabi as a friend who bears the Duo crest. Around that time, there have been many bank robberies in the city, and the culprit is a fellow bank robber who had obtained the Asteroid Swordsman. Wily appears in front of Miyabi, who is watching C.F. Rockman struggling against the materialized Swordsman.[1]

Summary[]

Dark Miyabi meditates under a waterfall when Wily approaches him. Wily criticizes Miyabi’s fight with RockmanUnder Duo's Comet, but Miyabi leaves after Wily tells him he shouldn’t fight his ally. At a bank, Swordman deletes a group of Guard Navis and breaks in to the vault, stealing all the money. He repeats this through several banks around the city. Manabe shows Netto an image of Swordman caught by the security cameras, but there’s no other information. Dark Miyabi sees Netto from the roof of a building. He attempts to destroy Netto’s PET, but he’s distracted as he sees Deep Kawase, a colleague of his. He approaches Kawase, but Kawase brushes him off, laughing about the robbery and leaves.

Netto races his friend’s to school, unaware of Miyabi watching him. Miyabi follows Netto throughout the day, trying to destroy his PET, but each time he’s blocked by something.  Miyabi is frustrated as each attempt fails, but he’s approached by Yuriko.  She tries to convince him that Netto is an ally, fighting him to protect Netto, but attempts to Miyabi flee with a kite. Yuriko manages to rip a section of the kite, but he’s only blown away. Miyabi arrives at Maha Ichiban, coincidentally at the same time Netto is eating. Miyabi sees Netto’s PET and tries to destroy it, but Netto sent Rockman to Higureya to run errands, so Miyabi gives up his attempt. Dingo, Dekao, and Chisao are confused by Miyabi‘s presence, all of them treating him like a simple costumer. Miyabi is confused and frustrated with Netto’s friendliness towards him, leaving after Netto offers him a free meal voucher.

Miyabi locates his wallet, which he lost after being blown away, he witnesses Swordman destroy a truck filled with money. He sees Kawase stealing the money, disgused at what he’s witnessing. Netto passes through the park, trying to get to the scene before the criminals flee. Miyabi, lurking in the park, attempts to destroy Netto’s PET again, but Wily appears and distracts Miyabi. Wily offers to pay Miyabi to spare Rockman, telling him all assassins do is blindly follow money, so he shouldn’t complain. Dingo arrives at an abandoned building, lost again while delivering curry. He spots Kawase with a van filled with money. Dingo calls Netto and Netto rushes to the building. Wily continues to bribe Miyabi with money, but the bribery fails. Miyabi leaves to defeat Rockman again.

Netto and Dingo approach Kawase, calling for a Dimensional Area and Cross Fusing to fight Swordman. Miyabi and Wily watch from a rooftop nearby. The two are caught off guard by explosive traps littering the building, making it harder for them to fight. Wily asks if Miyabi is going to do anything, then hands him a Synchro Chip. After realizing that Netto is important to keep alive, Miyabi Cross Fuses, jumping in and saving the two from Swordman. Miyabi defeats Swordman and Kawase is arrested. Miyabi takes the free meal voucher from Netto and leaves.
