Yonbain (ヨンバイン Yonbain) is an enemy from Mega Man 10 that appears in Solar Man's Stage, Wily Stage 1, and Special Stage 2. In Hard Mode they also appear in Nitro Man's Stage and Wily Stage 5.
Description[]
Yonbain is a small pink square enemy that rockets towards Mega Man in short bursts, splitting into 2 each time it stops, and those offspring can split vertically or horizontally. There can be up to 4 on the screen at a time. Triple Blade cuts through them pretty easily for its wide range and power of piercing, but Solar Blaze and Water Shield are good alternatives for deterring them. Mega Buster works just as well as it only takes 1 hit to kill each. They charge longer and faster towards Mega Man depending on the difficulty of the game, and in Hard Mode, they can go almost entirely across the screen with their charges.

Yonbain's name is probably derived from the Japanese "yonbai", which means quadruple.
